The End Of The Year Feast package is strictly R18, no unaccompanied minors are allowed on the table.
Valid forms of ID are required & will be actively checked if you look the age of 25 & under. Lucky 8 reserved the right to refuse to serve the End of the year Feast if a minor is found unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian, due to the nature of our ordering system & the ease of sharing alcoholic beverages with others.
Each session runs for 120 minutes. This time limit begins at the time of booking, not at the time of arrival. Late arrivals do not incur late start time, extensions will not be given to the dining time. Last order for the free flow drinks will be taken 15 minutes prior to the end of your session.
Minimum 5 people is required to activate the Bottomless drinks package..
All guests attending must participate in the same package & will be charged the same fee regardless of participation or dietary requirements. This includes those who are not consuming alcohol as non-alcoholic beverages are available as part of the package. Food is not bottomless however cocktails & selected house beverages are.
Host Responsibility: Lucky 8 complies with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and therefore enforce the responsible consumption of alcohol by all our guests. If any guest of the group does not have a valid form of ID required by New Zealand Law, or is underage, no alcohol will be served to the entire party as per our licence. Due to the nature of the venue and ordering system we cannot take responsibility for alcohol consumption of minors. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Proof of relationship may be requested. Guests will NOT be served more than one beverage at a time as part of the end of the year feast. Drinks are served on a “Glass-swap” basis — a new drink will only be served when an empty glass is returned to a staff member. Irresponsible drinking, such as sculling drinks or consuming them at an unusually fast pace, may result in intentional delays or a complete stop in service. We offer non-alcholic beverages and food at all times and will stop service to any intoxicated persons. BYO alcohol is not permitted. Alcohol purchased outside of the venue (i.e. gifts) may be kept safe by the host however, consumption of liquor not purchased at the venue may result in removal of guests from the premises. The Bottomless drinks package is strictly for dine-in purposes. No alcohol can be taken off premises.
We appreciate one bill per table to avoid delay to service for other guests. However we will endeavour to accommodate split payments during off-peak hours. Credit card, paywave & online merchant transactions incur a fee of up to 3%. Please note that a 15% public holiday surcharge will be applied to all purchases on such date.

Due to high demand, bookings before 8:30pm have a dining duration of 1.5–1.75 hours depending on group size. For a more relaxed dining experience, we recommend booking after 8:30pm, when reservations are allocated a 2-hour seating.
Please note that music volume gradually increases over the course of the evening, and we generally feature a live DJ on Friday and Saturday nights.
Please check your booking confirmation for the allocated dining duration and respect the end time, as tables will be needed for the next guests. To request extended dining times or special arrangements, please contact the restaurant directly.
Your table will be held for 15 minutes past your booking time, after which it may be released to waiting guests. Late arrivals will not extend the original booking duration.
When making your reservation, please include the exact number of adults and children to ensure appropriate seating arrangements.
For dietary restrictions or allergies, please inform our team directly. While we’ll endeavour to accommodate your dietary needs, we cannot guarantee against cross-contamination of ingredients such as onion, garlic, soy, and sesame.
To avoid delays in service, we appreciate one bill per table. Payments accepted include cash, EFTPOS, and all major credit cards.
Note that credit card, Paywave, and online merchant payments via our QR ordering system incur a transaction fee of up to 3%.
Please note that a 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.

We ask that any changes or cancellation to your reservation be made no less than 24 hours (48 hours for our Private Lounge) prior. Please be mindful we may not always be able to accommodate last-minute changes to bookings - this includes adding additional guests or switching to larger tables.
Bookings for parties over 5 guests or for special events such as our Bottomless Brunch, we request payment details via the secure Stripe payment platform in order to confirm booking (Nothing will be debited from your card when making the booking).
Jungle 8 reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $20 per person (or a set fee of up to $50 per person for special events) when one of the following conditions has been met:
1. Booking is cancelled within 24 hours (48 hours for our Private Lounge).
2. Guests do not show up for the reservation (bookings will be considered no-show after 15 minuteswithout notice).
3. Party size is less than the original booking by 2 or more guests without notice.
The cancellation fee will be deducted from the registered card on file.
If the need to cancel arise, please cancel 24 hours prior (48 hours for our Private Lounge) to avoid the cancellation fee being charged.
